There are two engine options available for the BMW X7. The first is a turbocharged 3.0-liter four-cylinder which delivers 335 horsepower and 330 lb-ft of torque which pairs with an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel-drive. We do like that all-wheel-drive comes standard on all trims, but the power numbers are lacking compared with the QX80. The optional engine, which is only available on the highest trim, is a turbocharged 4.4-liter V8 engine.
